I have been looking at the Ashfar rugs all day. What beauties. I`m fascinated by the stitch. Did I get the last 2 ? Could you tell me where is Ashfar, or is it a tribe or style? I have tried a search but only came up with people`s names. The Milas is very interesting, too. Where it looks "tufted", the pile is separated by a black line of flatweave. I can`t tell if this was done after-the-fact or during the process of knotting. Do you know? Such soft, long pile. Almost like a Persian Gabbeh. Thanks for offering these wonderful rugs. Regards,
